CALL OUT FOR DANCERS/ACTORS for ‘THE SNOWY DAY’

Can’t Sit Still is looking for two male presenting dancers/actors from the Global Majority for ‘The Snowy Day’, a co-production with Polka Theatre in Wimbledon, this Christmas.

‘The Snowy Day’ is an award winning book by American author Ezra Jack Keats which tells the gentle story of Peter, who wakes up one morning to find his New York neighbourhood covered in snow. It will be brought to life as a one person dance show for 1-4 year olds and their grown ups. It will play a two month run at Polka Theatre from December-January 2025, before touring to libraries and small scale studio theatres in February 2025.

Both performers will both be employed on a full time contract, sharing the role of Peter and understudying for each either in the event of illness.

The show will be directed by Can’t Sit Still’s Artistic Director Cat Boot, with original music by singer/songwriter Rob.Green and choreography by Laila Diallo.
